On Wednesday, Los Angeles County lifted its outdoor masking mandate for K-12 schools and child care centers as well as mega-events.

Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer told the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors that they would officially be lifting the masking requirements on Wednesday at 12:01 AM.

That being said, there are still certain mask mandates in place here in Los Angeles County and if COVID cases continue to drop, those mask requirements will be lifted as well. According to Barbara Ferrer, the indoor mask mandate could potentially be lifted on March 30th.

On Tuesday, there were 1,995 COVID patients in Los Angeles County, a number that is decreasing daily.

Only time will tell as to when the indoor mask mandate is officially lifted.
