Man Wounded in Sun Valley Shooting

SUN VALLEY (CNS) - A man was standing next to a Sun Valley street when another man walked up and shot him, authorities said today.

The shooting was reported just after 6 p.m. Sunday at Lankershim Boulevard and Sherman Way, according to Officer A. Delatorre of the Los Angeles Police Department's Operations Center.

The 25-year-old victim was taken by paramedics to a hospital, Delatorre said. His condition was not available.

The suspect fled the scene.
