Average L.A. County Gas Price Rises For 29th Consecutive Day

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 29th consecutive day and 49th time in 50 days, increasing 1.3 cents to $3.837, its highest amount since Dec. 1, 2019.

The average price has increased 48.9 cents in the past 50 days, including 1.1 cents on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 7.3 cents more than one week ago, 30.8 cents higher than one month ago and 34.3 cents greater than one year ago.

The Orange County average price rose for the 30th consecutive day and 63rd time in 64 days, increasing 1.1 cents to $3.828, its highest amount since Nov. 25, 2019. It has increased 60.4 cents in the last 64 days, including 1.1 cents on Tuesday.

The Orange County average price is 8.2 cents more than one week ago, 31.9 cents higher than one month ago and 37.8 cents greater than one year ago.
