Little Change to Average Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged today, remaining at $3.155, one day after rising three-tenths of a cent.

The average price is 1.2 cents more than one week ago but nine-tenths of a cent less than one month ago and 69.6 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 46 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.131, one day after dropping one-tenth of a cent. It is 2 cents higher than one week ago and two-tenths of a cent above one month ago but 64.8 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has decreased 41.4 cents since the start of the year.
