#TerrorInTheSkies: Blood Blisters & Big Falls

Now neither one of these stories are good (as you could have probably guessed by the name "Terror In The Skies"), but if I had to pick one to experience, I can pretty confidently say that I would choose this one.

(Unless they had like Ebola or something. That would be pretty bad.)

It all started when a woman felt that it was appropriate to wear flip flops on an American Airlines flight yesterday that was bound for Miami.

Flip flops weren't the problem.

Wearing the flip flops while having a massive foot blister was.

Now Fox News doesn't explain exactly how it happened, but when you have a massive, festering pustule on your foot, bad things are bound to happen.

And oh did they ever...

Not only did the woman's blister pop, but it sent blood flying all over the place, getting fluids on the men near her, on one of their books, on the plane window, and everything else in the splash zone.

Luckily the flight crew took the incident very seriously.

The called Miami Dade Fire Department to make sure the medical situation was handled properly and that everyone was checked on properly.

Why would I pick to endure this "terror" you ask?

Well, that's because it doesn't involve me plunging 30,000 feet.

That's exactly what every passenger on Delta Flight 2353 experienced yesterday as the plane rapidly descended for seven minutes.

Harris DeWoskin was on the flight, and he described the terrifying situation.

"Out of nowhere, I felt what felt like a sort of a rapid descent. We started dropping in altitude and then the oxygen masks dropped from the top of the plane. Chaos sort of ensued amongst the passengers."
"One of the flight attendants, I believe, grabbed the intercom and was just repeating over the intercom stating, 'Do not panic! Do not panic!' But, obviously, it’s a hectic moment so, the passengers around me, a lot of people, were kind of hyperventilating."

According to New York Post, the mechanics at Tampa International started working on the plane last night in an attempt to determine what went wrong.
