A customer captured a heartwarming moment at a Mississippi Walmart where a cashier took the time to help an older man who was struggling to count his change.
The touching moment was captured by another shopper, Spring Bowlin.
“This gentleman’s items were scanned and he was given the total.
He looks apologetically back at me and starts taking handfuls of change out of his pockets.”
Bowlin says the man was shaking and tried to count the change before growing frustrated.
The cashier stepped in and told him she was here to help:
“This is not a problem, honey. We will do this together.”
When it was time for Bowlin to pay for her goods, she thanked the cashier for her kindness and patience.
The cashier replied:
“You shouldn’t have to thank me, baby. What’s wrong with our world is we’ve forgotten how to love one another.”
