Elon Musk has announced another big change to Twitter - charging $8 a month for that coveted blue checkmark.
- On Tuesday, Musk backed off his initial proposal of $20 a month, settling on $8 for a subscription to 'Twitter Blue'.
- Musk also announced extra features for Blue users - including longer videos, fewer ads, bypassing paywalls, and 'priority in replies, mentions & search".
