While one couple was busy looking for their lost dog, another person entered their dog in a local competition!!!
Bonnie the beagle-mix was found by a man on his way to a local dog show... And while the man did a social media post looking for Bonnie's owners, he also decided to enter the dog for the best rescue dog category.
Bonnie won third place, and then was reunited with her family.
"We couldn't believe it," said Bonnie's owner Peter. "You could not make it up. Bonnie was absolutely fine when she got back. She just thought she was having a great day out."
