You may remember in February of this year, the John and Ken Show heavily discussed Hannah Tubbs, the transgender child molester that was heard on a jailhouse phone call gloating about her light sentence after pleading guilty to molesting a 10 year old girl in 2014.

Well, she is back in the news... Tubbs, 26, has now been charged with first-degree murder.

The first-degree murder charge became public on Tuesday after Kern County authorities had recently charged Tubbs in connection with a 2019 robbery.

As of writing, Tubbs is being held on $1 million bail and is due in court for her arraignment on Tuesday afternoon, documents show.

A few months back, Hannah Tubbs plead guilty in a 2014 child molestation of a 10-year-old girl inside a Denny's restaurant. At the time of the incident, Tubbs was 17 (turned 18 two weeks later) and according to prosecutors, Tubbs grabbed the girl by the throat, would proceed to lock her in a bathroom stall, and put his hands down her pants.

This incident took place when Tubbs was still identifying as a man - James Edwards Tubbs.
Tubbs began identifying as a woman following her arrest last year.

Following Tubbs pleading guilty to the attack on the child, (it's important to mention, Tubbs was arrested approximately eight years after the attack took place), prosecutors sentenced her to two years in a juvenile facility. This was done because the office of George Gascón did not want to transfer the case to an adult court, one of Gascón's policies is not having "children" being tried as adults. Tubbs would not have had to register as a sex offender under this policy, as well.
