Two Injured in Gang-Related Shooting in Hyde Park

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Two men were injured today in a Hyde Park shooting police are investigating as gang-related.

The two victims were sitting in a car outside an apartment complex in the area of 59th Street and 10th Avenue about 4 p.m. when four suspects in a second vehicle approached, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Two of the suspects exited the vehicle with firearms and fired several shots at the two victims before reentering the vehicle, which fled the area westbound on West 59th.

The two men were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds and were listed in stable condition.

The four suspects were described only as men, and no further details were immediately available. LAPD detectives were investigating the shooting as possibly being gang-related, according to the department.
