PICO RIVERA (CNS) - Authorities today publicly identified a 19-year- old man who was found fatally shot inside his car in Pico Rivera.
Deputies responded about 3:30 p.m. Sunday to the 9500 block of Dork Street on a report of a traffic crash and possible hit-and-run, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Eva Jimenez.
Deputies found Cody Wilson, whose city of residence was unknown, suffering from a gunshot wound and initiated life-saving measures, but he died at the scene, Jimenez said.
Deputies were canvassing the neighborhood for witnesses and surveillance video, Jimenez added.
A motive for the shooting was unknown. No suspect information was available.
