Police Seek Help in Solving 2013 Van Nuys Killing

PACOIMA (CNS) - Members of the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Bureau Homicide Unit will have a news conference today in Pacoima to ask for the public's help in bringing the killer of Kenneth Fulks to justice.

At the 10:30 a.m. news conference at 10717 San Fernando Road, a $50,000 reward will be announced for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects responsible for the murder of Fulks, who was shot to death on May 9, 2013, in the 15200 block of Vanowen Street in Van Nuys, police said. A new billboard asking for the public's help will also be unveiled.

Fulks' family members will join homicide detectives, and two organizations -- Justice for Murdered Children and Justice For Homicide Victims -- that support family and friends whose loved ones have been killed.

Anyone seeking additional information may contact Valley Bureau Homicide detectives at 818-374-1948.
