Did You Feel it? 3.6 Earthquake Shakes Thousand Oaks

A brand new week was kicked off with a jolt after a 3.6-magnitude earthquake shook the Thousand Oaks area Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological survey.

Officials say the quake struck at 7:59 a.m. this morning with the epicenter located about 3.1 miles north-northwest of Thousand Oaks in Ventura County. Shaking was reportedly felt throughout the Valley and Santa Clarita, Inglewood, and as far away as Santa Maria.

There were no immediate reports of damages or injuries. The Los Angeles Fire Department said it received no calls regarding the quake and that it was in normal operating mode.
