LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Members of the Los Angeles Dodgers' 1981 World Series-winning team will sign autographs before games tonight and Saturday against the Colorado Rockies at Dodger Stadium.
A pregame ceremony will be begin at 12:30 p.m. Sunday to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1981 World Series victory, with ticket prices starting at $19.81. Members of the 1981 team will be interviewed during Sunday's Viva Los Dodgers festival.
Fernando Valenzuela and three members of the Dodgers' record-setting infield -- Steve Garvey, Ron Cey and Bill Russell -- are expected to attend the weekend's reunion, along with Pedro Guerrero, Steve Yeager, Rick Monday, Manny Mota, Steve Sax, Jerry Reuss, Ken Landreaux, Burt Hooton, Derrel Thomas, Tom Niedenfuer, Alejandro Pena, Pepe Frias, Ron Roenicke, Candy Maldonado, Mark Bradley and Mark Cresse.
