Man Wounded in Sun Valley Car-to-Car Shooting

SUN VALLEY (CNS) -  A man suffered gunshot wounds today in a car-to-car shooting in Sun Valley, authorities said today.

The shooting was reported at 6:46 p.m. Sunday at Lankershim Boulevard and Strathern Street, said Officer F.  Gonzalez of the Los Angeles Police Department's Operations Center.

The 50-year-old man got into an argument with another man outside their vehicles and when he tried to drive away, the suspect drove up to his car and fired shots into the victim's car, Gonzalez said.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he had stable vital signs, the officer said.
