IRVINE (CNS) - A 76-year-old man diagnosed with dementia who was reported missing after last being seen in Irvine was found this morning.
Armando “Gabby'' Vasquez was last seen about 3 p.m. Tuesday near LA Fitness at the intersection of Culver Drive and Barranca Parkway, according to the Irvine Police Department.
About 12:40 a.m., a patrol sergeant showed a citizen a photo of Vasquez and the person recognized the missing man and helped lead to his whereabouts, the department said.
Vasquez was found in good condition and was reunited with his family, police said.
An exact location where Vasquez was found was not disclosed.
