Man Killed in Anaheim Shooting

ANAHEIM (CNS) - A man was killed in a shooting in Anaheim and the suspect was on the loose this morning.

Officers responded about 11:30 p.m. Thursday to the 1700 block of West Glenoaks Avenue, west of Euclid Street, where they found the victim down and not breathing, according to Sgt. Shane Carringer of the Anaheim Police Department.

Officers performed CPR on the victim until paramedics arrived and took the him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Carringer said.

A motive for the shooting and description of a suspect were not immediately available.

The name of the victim was not disclosed.
