A piece of the Wright brothers' first airplane is on Mars right now.
- NASA just announced that its Martian helicopter holds a small swatch of fabric from the 1903 Wright Flyer.
- The helicopter hitched a ride to the red planet with the Perseverance rover last month.
- The postage-sized swatch that made the 300-million mile journey to Mars was from the plane's bottom-left wing.
- NASA says the helicopter is going to attempt to visit another planet sometime in April.
