Gas Prices Spiking Across L.A., Orange County

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 26th consecutive day and 46th time in 47 days, increasing 1.8 cents to $3.808, its highest amount since Dec. 3, 2019.  

The average price has increased 46 cents in the past 47 days, including 1.4 cents on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 6.3 cents more than one week ago, 29.2 cents higher than one month ago and 28.4 cents greater than one year ago.  

The Orange County average price rose for the 27th consecutive day and 60th time in 61 days, increasing 1.8 cents to $3.796, its highest amount since Nov. 27, 2019. It has increased 57.2 cents in the last 61 days, including 2.2 cents on Saturday.  

The Orange County average price is 6.8 cents more than one week ago, 29.6 cents higher than one month ago and 31.6 cents greater than one year ago.
