QUARTZ HILL (CNS) - The Coroner's Office today identified the 22-year- old man who was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Quartz Hill that also left a child in critical condition.
The 22-year-old man was identified as Gary Green, of Lancaster, the coroner's office said.
The crash occurred at 10:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 40th Street West and Avenue L, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Video from the scene showed the child being rushed to a hospital in a department SUV and the silver sedan overturned in the parking lot of a Chase Bank branch.
The age and gender of the child were not disclosed.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
