Professor and Activist Melina Abdullah Discuss the Current Protests in LA

Protests are happening all over the country in response to the death of George Floyd after being killed by a police officer last week.

Melina Abdullah is a professor of Pan-African Studies at Cal State Los Angeles, one of the original members of Black Lives Matter-L.A. and one of the city's most prominent voices advocating against police violence.

Today she joined us to discuss the protests, the work being done to stop the violence and the underlying causes behind the movement.
