CDC Says More Than One Third of COVID-19 Cases are Asymptomatic

Some new modeling from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that more than one-third of COVID-19 cases are asymptomatic, meaning the person doesn't realize he or she is infected.

If that wasn't scary enough, they also estimate that about 40% of coronavirus transmission is happening long before people feel sick.

The CDC says that 0.4% of those who show symptoms will die from the virus, with that number increasing to 1.3% if they are over the age of 65.
