LAGUNA NIGUEL (CNS) - A 31-year-old man was arrested today on suspicion of fatally stabbing a woman in Laguna Niguel.
Orange County sheriff's deputies were called at 8:15 a.m. to an apartment complex in the 28000 block of La Pradera, said department spokeswoman Carrie Braun. When they arrived, they found the victim with multiple stab wounds, she said.
The woman, who was in her 30s, was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The suspect had fled the scene but was arrested a short time later, Braun said.
Investigators did not disclose any other details, including whether the suspect knew the victim.
The names of the suspect and the victim were not immediately released.
