'Frozen 2' Still Leads Box Office With Another $34.6 Million

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - “Frozen 2” easily held onto the top spot at the North American box office this weekend by taking in another $34.6 million in its third week of release, according to industry estimates released today.

“Knives Out,” the murder mystery with an all-star cast, took second place for the second straight weekend with $14.1 million, Comscore reported.

“Ford V. Ferrari” was third with $6.5 million Friday through Sunday in its fourth week in theaters, a tad ahead of “Queen & Slim,” which took in about $6.5 million in its second week.

“Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” was fifth with $5.2 million.

Rounding out the 10 top-grossing films of the weekend were “Dark Waters” ($4.1 million); “21 Bridges” ($2.8 million), “Playing With Fire” ($2 million), “Midway” ($1.9 million) and “Joker” ($1 million).
