'Tis the season for heart warming stories.
A couple days ago a story out of England went viral as a hospice was trying to fulfill a patients last request.
He is terminally ill and not likely that he would make it to the December 20th release date of Star Wars.
Fans on social media reached out to everyone including Mark Hamill and Disney CEO Bob Iger to help make the man's wish come true.
It has now been confirmed through a tweet from Bob Iger that the man and his son have seen the movie.
Bob Iger tweeted, on this Thanksgiving, we at @Disney are grateful to be able to share #TheRiseofSkywalker with a patient and his family @RowansHospice. May the force be with you and with us all.
Even Mark Hamil, the famous actor known for playing Luke Skywalker, was moved by the screening and tweeted about the incident as well.
Rowan's Hospice tweeted how it went down and the pictures just warm our heart.
