A Delta pilot was taken off a fully-boarded plane and arrested on suspicion that he was about to fly while intoxicated...
Authorities became suspicious after the pilot, 37-year-old Gabriel Schroeder, left the TSA screening line. They later found an alcohol container in his possession after pulling him from the plane, which had boarded but thankfully not yet taken off.
Delta later released a statement in part stating:
"Delta's alcohol policy is among the strictest in the industry and we have no tolerance for violation. Delta is cooperating with local authorities in their investigation."
