Incoming House Judiciary Chair Says Russia Had "Leverage" Over Trump's Camp

New York Congressman Jerry Nadler, the incoming House Judiciary Chair, was on "Meet the Press" and discussed Russia's leverage over Trump and how the president lies to the American people.

"The time that he can get away with lying to the American people all the time and evading accountability is coming to [an] end," Nadler said about President Trump.

Nadler said that Moscow has influence on Trump and sited Michael Cohen's guilty plea for lying to Congress.

"One question we have now is, does the Kremlin still have a hold over him because of other lies that they know about?" Nadler asked.

Trump has called Cohen a "weak person" and has claimed Cohen is lying to investigators so they will go easy on him.
