The Orange County District Attorney's Office announced yesterday that they are charging two people, Grant Robicheaux & Cerissa Riley, with sexually assaulting two women by use of drugs.

The 38-year-old Robicheaux, a popular Newport Beach surgeon, and his girlfriend, 31-year-old Riley, are accused of teaming up to attract women at bars, who they ultimately drug or get drunk.  At that point, they allegedly take the women back to Robicheaux's apartment, where he sexually assaults or rapes them.

According to ABC7, based on the pictures and videos that investigators found on the suspect's phone, it is believed that there may be over 1,000 victims.

They have also been charged with oral copulation by anesthesia or controlled substance, assault with intent to commit a sexual offense and possession of a controlled substance for sale.

Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas joined the show to discuss the case.
