#TerrorInTheSkies: Woman Sucked Out Of Plane Window

Southwest Flight 1380 was on its way from New York to Dallas when it was forced to make an emergency landing this morning in Philadelphia after an engine problem damaged a window and sucked a woman partially out of it.

The injured woman has been taken to the hospital, but there is no update on her condition at this time.

Philadelphia International Airport released the following statement on the incident just a couple hours ago.

Southwest Airlines flight 1380, which departed LaGuardia for Dallas Love Field (DAL) , diverted to PHL because of an operational event. The plane landed safely. No slides were deployed. At this time, passengers are coming down a mobile stairway and are being bussed to the terminal. PHL Flights continue to arrive and depart but passengers should expect delays.

Now this wouldn't stop me from flying again, but Scared-Of-Flying Shannon sure as hell wouldn't be getting back in a metal death tube if she saw this go down.
