Echo Chamber: Sinclair Broadcast Group Has Anchors Read Identical Script

Sinclair Broadcast Group had dozens of news anchors across the country read the same right-leaning script last month.

Sinclair is the largest broadcast company in the nation, owning or operating 193 television stations from coast to coast.

The distributed script first made news about a month ago when Seattle broadcasters at KOMO were unhappy about the "forced read."

Whether you are a fan of President Trump or not, seeing reactions like this make it very clear why we need to stay vigilant and do our part.

The fact that President Trump reacted so passionately in favor of the news should tell you enough about which way it was slanted.

This is exactly why it is so important to pay attention to what is going on is Washington D.C..

As the public, we have a duty to keep our government in check, regardless of which side is being pushed or supported.  If we don't, this kind of stuff will go unnoticed, and politicians will run wild.

Seattle PI obtained the script that KOMO broadcasters were told to read.

(B) At KOMO it's our responsibility to pursue and report the truth. We understand Truth is neither politically 'left nor right.' Our commitment to factual reporting is the foundation of our credibility, now more than ever.

(A) But we are human and sometimes our reporting might fall short. If you believe our coverage is unfair please reach out to us by going to KOMOnews.com and clicking on CONTENT CONCERNS. We value your comments. We will respond back to you.

(B) We work very hard to seek the truth and strive to be fair, balanced and factual... We consider it our honor, our privilege to responsibly deliver the news every day.
