(Sylmar, CA) -- Police are looking at surveillance video to try and find a reported gunman in Sylmar. A floor-by-floor search this morning of the Olive View UCLA Medical Center turned up no suspects. A member of the medical staff reported that she was confronted on the second floor by a man with a weapon, who vanished after she ran for safety.
The place was locked down and patients and staff were evacuated while authorities combed through the facility. Deputies say people who were detained and questioned as possible witnesses or suspects were all cleared and released.
