North Bay Workers Affected By Wildfire Can Get Disaster Unemployment

(Santa Rosa, CA)  --  North Bay workers who were directly affected by wildfire can apply for Disaster Unemployment Assistance.  Temporary unemployment benefits are available to people who lost work or had their hours significantly reduced because of the fires.  

The federal aid also covers self-employed individuals and even those who were set to begin new jobs.  For more information and to apply, log onto FEMA.gov.  The application deadline is November 16th.
