A jury in Kern County has found Sabrina Limon guilty of first-degree murder in the death of her husband. The provocative trial has come to a close after three-weeks of drama, detailing church going couples who swing and tainted pudding
It only took five hours for the jury to deliberate. They also found her guilty of solicitation of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and accessory to murder. She is facing 25 years to life in prison at her Nov. 3 sentencing hearing.
Prosecutors posed that Limon conspired with her lover, a former Redlands firefighter, to kill her husband so they could run off together. She gave him details about how to get to her husband’s workplace and schedule. They used a burner phone to make their plans as a way to avoid getting caught.
Sabrina Limon admitted to engaging in the affair but claims that she was ignorant of her lover’s plans to murder her husband. When originally asked by investigators about any extramarital affairs, she lied, claiming she wanted to preserve her and her husband’s reputations.
Limon also testified that as a couple, she and her husband decided to start swinging with other couples five years of the birth of their first child. Both liked to party and were both very fixated on sex.
He said they agreed to poison Robert Limon by placing arsenic trioxide in banana pudding and sending it with him to work. Hearn testified he ordered the poison online, mixed it into the pudding then gave it to Sabrina Limon to give to her husband.
Sabrina Limon later got cold feet and anxiety about getting caught; she called her husband at work and told him to throw the pudding out because the bananas had gone bad.
