A man is dead and a woman is in the hospital after a shooting at a strip club near Long Beach. The shooting happened during a birthday celebration just before two o'clock this morning at the Fantasy Castle in Signal Hill.
Witnesses say the woman and the man appeared to be friends, and when the shooting started, they thought it was part of the music. Investigators say the shooting started somewhere in the lobby area and people scattered, looking for a safe place to hide. It's still unclear what led up to the violence.
