A man who has been accused of sexually assaulting more than a dozen women at a Tarzana Hospital has been arrested. A nursing assistant who hid out in Guatemala for more than a decade was brought back by U.S. Marshals last week.

LAPD Detective Ninette Toolsby says Eduardo Ramon Rodas Gaspar was arrested back in 2006, but disappeared with his wife and child after posting bail. A decade-long manhunt ensued, until it finally resulted in Gaspar's arrest on June 26th.

"I'm so happy to finally have him in custody. So I can bring the closure, the justice, and the vindication for my victims they deserve."

Toolsby says the man sexually abused women who were unconscious. Because of the nature of the assaults, officials say they don't know how many women the man assaulted.

"The acts and the assaults he committed have an everlasting impact, a horrible, negative impact on his victims."
