Authorities say they've located a stolen unmarked Sheriff's Department vehicle that was taken from a car dealership on Sunday.

Deputy Ryan Rouzan says Pasadena police spotted the black 2016 Dodge Challenger parked on a street before dawn on Wednesday. When officers approached the vehicle to confirm whether or not it was the stolen car, they say they found a man snoozing inside who they took into custody.

Authorities say the vehicle didn't appear to be damaged when Sheriff's officials recovered it. The Challenger is equipped with covert red, blue and white lights along with a two-way radio used by the Sheriff's Department. It did not contain any weapons or other equipment inside when it was taken on Sunday

Surveillance video captured a male suspect walking into the dealership's service area and leaving with the Dodge early Sunday morning from a dealership in Alhambra.
