Life-sized Ronald McDonald statue stolen from New Jersey McDonalds

Gather up the usual suspects. A Ronald McDonald statue in New Jersey has gone missing allowing every morning show in the country to make the same Hamburglar joke.

(We here at KFI will do no such thing. We're going with the Mayor McCheese angle - or perhaps Wendys' sarcastic Twitter account has become sentient and has begun trolling McDonalds in real life).

The Hunterdon County Prosecutor's office (who is likely already tired of the jokes) says the life-sized fiberglass statue of the famed red-headed clown prince of Big Macs disappeared over night while sitting outside the fast-food chain in Clinton, New Jersey on April 26th.

Employees discovered that the statue was missing the next morning.

Authorities say the statue weighs around 250 pounds, so clearly, whoever stole the statue (we're looking at you local fraternities and teenage ne'er do-wells) was committed to the theft.

A $500 reward is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest or indictment. Not for nothing, at an average price of $5.09, $500 will get you 98.81 Big Macs according to the Big Mac Index
